A fifth wheel trailer hitch mounted to a bed of a vehicle comprising:
- a torsion bar mounted to the bed of the vehicle;
- a pair of support arms connected to and extending upwardly from the torsion bar;
- a support beam connected to and extending between the support arms;
- and
- a coupling assembly mounted to the support beam.
