Abstract
The present invention provides a resin composition and a resin molded article capable of designing to make specific properties, in particular, fuel barrier properties, consistent with impact resistance. The resin composition includes a mixture of a thermoplastic resin with fibers having lengths of from 4 to 20 mm. The fibers have melting points higher than a melting point of the thermoplastic resin or are infusible.

A resin composition comprising a mixture of a thermoplastic resin with fibers having lengths of from 4 to 20 mm, said fibers being one of fibers having melting points higher than a melting point of said thermoplastic resin and fibers being infusible.
A resin molded article comprising a matrix of a thermoplastic resin having dispersed therein fibers having lengths of from 4 to 20 mm, said fibers being one of fibers having melting points higher than a melting point of said thermoplastic resin and fibers being infusible.
A production method of a resin molded article comprising:
- mixing a thermoplastic resin with fibers having lengths of from 4 to 20 mm, said fibers being one of fibers having melting points higher than a melting point of said thermoplastic resin and fibers being infusible, and
- injection molding the mixture at a molding temperature which is higher than the melting point of said thermoplastic resin and lower than the melting points of said fibers.
