Abstract
The present invention relates to a nucleotide sequence of a testis-specific gene in avian species and a method for identifying a testicular cell of avian species.

An isolated nucleotide sequence of a testis-specific gene, wherein said nucleotide sequence is specifically expressed in a testis of avian species and comprises (i) a nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID Nos:1-25, (ii) its complement or (iii) its fragment.
