A reaction mixture for preparing a polyisocyanate based adhesive comprising an aqueous alkali metal silicate solution and an organic polyisocyanate.
A sandwich panel comprising an insulation layer having on at least one side a glued-on coating layer characterised in that the glue joint between the insulation layer and the coating layer comprises an adhesive obtainable by reacting an aqueous alkali metal silicate solution with an organic polyisocyanate.
