Liquid crystal display panel, method of inspecting the same, and inspection apparatus used for the same

A method of inspecting a liquid crystal display panel, comprising the steps of:

• applying a predetermined voltage to a liquid crystal in a picture-frame area of a liquid crystal display panel formed by dispensing the liquid crystal on either of a pair of substrates, combining the pair of substrates through a sealing material, and providing a pair of polarizers so as to sandwich the pair of substrates;
• and
• inspecting whether there is a bubble in the liquid crystal display panel or not based on the state of display in the picture-frame area.

A method of inspecting a liquid crystal display panel, comprising the steps of:

• measuring an electrical characteristic value of a picture-frame area of a liquid crystal display panel formed by dispensing a liquid crystal on either of a pair of substrates and combining the pair of substrates through a sealing material;
• and
• inspecting whether there is a bubble in the liquid crystal display panel or not based on the electrical characteristic value.

A method of inspecting a liquid crystal display panel, comprising the steps of:

• measuring an electrical characteristic value of a picture-frame area of a liquid crystal display panel formed by dispensing a liquid crystal on either of a pair of substrates and combining the pair of substrates through a sealing material, the panel having a light-shield film in the picture-frame area;
• and
• inspecting whether the sealing material and the light-shield film overlap or not based on the electrical characteristic value.

A liquid crystal display panel inspection apparatus for inspecting a liquid crystal display panel formed by dispensing a liquid crystal on either of a pair of substrates and combining the pair of substrates through a sealing material, comprising an electrical characteristic value measuring unit for measuring an electrical characteristic value of a picture-frame area of the liquid crystal display panel.
