Image forming apparatus

An image forming apparatus, comprising

• a chassis;
• a printer head pivotably supported in the chassis;
• a platen roller rotatably supported in the chassis opposite the printer head, the printer head being configured to press the paper against the platen roller to perform printing;
• a paper guide fixedly supported within the chassis and having a base portion, a first separation portion that projects from the base portion, and a second separation portion that projects from the base portion and is disposed at least partially on the first lateral side of the first separation portion, the first separation portion protruding further upward than the second separation portion, the first separation portion having at least two first separation components;
• a paper feed roller that is rotatably supported by the chassis;
• a paper cassette from which the paper feed roller is configured to supply paper, the paper cassette being configured to be detachably coupled to the paper guide and having a plurality of guide projections on its first lateral side portion, the paper cassette further including a biasing component unitarily provided on its second lateral side portion, the biasing component being for biasing a second lateral side edge of the paper toward the first lateral side, the guide projections having a convex, round shape;
• and
• a cover having an engagement projection that is configured to engage the biasing component when the cover is placed on the paper cassette, such that the biasing component is bent toward the first lateral side,
• a widthwise center of the paper feed roller being offset toward the first lateral side relative to a widthwise center of the first separation components,
