Abstract
Methods and compositions for cementing applications. In one embodiment, the present invention provides a method of cementing comprising the steps of: providing a cement composition that comprises: a polyelectrolyte and/or an alkenoic acid first monomer; a filler; and a crosslinking agent; placing the cement composition in a desired location; and allowing the cement composition to set therein.
Claims87
A method of cementing comprising the steps of:
- providing a cement composition that comprises:
- a polyelectrolyte and/or an alkenoic acid first monomer;
- a filler;
- and a crosslinking agent;
- placing the cement composition in a desired location;
- and
- allowing the cement composition to set therein.
A method of enhancing the properties of a cement composition comprising the step of adding to the cement composition a polyelectrolyte and/or a alkenoic acid first monomer;
- a filler;
- and a crosslinking agent.
A cement composition comprising a polyelectrolyte and/or a alkenoic acid first monomer;
- a filler;
- and a crosslinking agent.
A cement composition comprising acrylic acid, present in an amount from about 20% to about 35% by weight of the cement composition;
- manganese tetroxide, present in an amount from about 15% to about 50% by volume of the cement composition;
- and trivalent aluminum, present in an amount from about 0.7% to about 2% by weight of the cement composition.
