Abstract
There is provided a circuit element using an organic semiconductor that maintains the characteristics of organic semiconductors in a stable manner for a long period, is highly durable against various kinds of stresses, impacts, etc. from outside and has excellent reliability. The circuit element comprises a circuit portion including an organic semiconductor formed on a substrate and a sealing can that envelopes the circuit portion with a prescribed space.

A circuit element comprising:
- a circuit portion including an organic semiconductor formed on a substrate, and
- a sealing can that envelopes the circuit portion with a prescribed space.
A method of manufacturing the circuit element, comprising:
- making a circuit portion including an organic semiconductor layer and on a substrate, and then,
- sealing the organic semiconductor layer with a sealing can without exposing the organic semiconductor to the atomospheric gas, the sealing enveloping the organic semiconductor layer with a prescribed space.
