Abstract
A drum (2) for a brake having a series of fins (12) that are secured via a first end (16) to an external wall (11) of the drum. The fins alternate on the external wall of the drum. It is possible to provide an outer annulus (10) surrounding the drum, a second end (17) of the fins being secured to said outer annulus. Another subject of the invention is a drum brake (1) comprising such a drum.
