Abstract
A method, apparatus, and system are provided for a Message-Oriented Middleware (MOM) provider having multiple logical MOM server instances. In an embodiment, the MOM provider having multiple logical MOM server instances is implemented on an application server. Each MOM server instance may include a session container to manage one or more sessions and a destination container to provide one or more destinations. In an embodiment, a globally unique identifier identifies each destination.
Claims30
A Message Oriented Middleware (MOM) provider comprising:
- a first logical MOM server instance to provide an MOM service to a first client;
- and
- a second logical MOM server instance to provide an MOM service to a second client,
- wherein the first logical MOM server instance and the second logical MOM server instance are implemented on a same application server.
A system comprising:
- an application server to serve an application to a client;
- and
- a Message-Oriented Middleware (MOM) provider to provide a message service for the application server, the MOM provider including two or more logical MOM server instances implemented on the application server.
A method employed within a network comprising:
- requesting connection information from a registry service to establish a connection to a Message-Oriented Middleware (MOM) provider, wherein the MOM provider includes a plurality of MOM server instances, each of the plurality of MOM server instances to store a message in an associated destination;
- and
- receiving the connection information from the registry service, the connection information having one or more MOM parameters, wherein the one or more MOM parameters include an MOM server instance name to uniquely identify one of the plurality of MOM server instances.
A system comprising:
- means for requesting connection information from a registry service to establish a connection to a Message-Oriented Middleware (MOM) provider, wherein the MOM provider includes a plurality of MOM server instances, each of the plurality of MOM server instances to store a message in an associated destination;
- and
- means for receiving the connection information from the registry service, the connection information having one or more MOM parameters, wherein the one or more MOM parameters include an MOM server instance name to uniquely identify one of the plurality of MOM server instances.
An article of manufacture comprising:
- an electronically accessible medium providing instructions that, when executed by an apparatus, cause the apparatus to
- request connection information from a registry service to establish a connection to a Message-Oriented Middleware (MOM) provider, wherein the MOM provider includes a plurality of MOM server instances, each of the plurality of MOM server instances to store a message in an associated destination;
- and
- receive the connection information from the registry service, the connection information having one or more MOM parameters, wherein the one or more MOM parameters include an MOM server instance name to uniquely identify one of the plurality of MOM server instances.
