Abstract
Analog-valued floating-gate transistors are used as trimmable circuit components for modifying and/or controlling the gain, phase, offset, frequency response, current consumption, and/or transfer function of signal pathways in parallel and/or serial processing circuits in radio frequency, analog, or mixed-signal integrated circuits.

1-31. (canceled)
A filter circuit element comprising:
- a first node;
- a second node;
- a third node;
- a resistance disposed between said first node and said second node;
- and
- a MOSCAP disposed between said second node and said third node,
- the filter circuit element having an input at said first and third nodes and an output at said second and third nodes,
- wherein a charge stored on a floating gate of said MOSCAP controls capacitance of said MOSCAP and hence frequency response of the filter circuit element.

A filter circuit element comprising:
- a first node;
- a second node;
- a third node;
- a variable resistance component disposed between said first node and said second node;
- and
- a capacitor disposed between said second node and said third node,
- the filter circuit element having an input at said first and third nodes and an output at said second and third nodes,
- wherein a charge stored on a floating gate of said variable resistance component, controls resistance of said variable resistance component and hence frequency response of the filter circuit element.
