Abstract
The invention concerns an orthopedic training or therapeutic device for dogs, hoofed animals, and camels that consists of at least one elastic band (3), at least over part (5) of its length, and that is fastened on one side to the middle rear paw or middle front paw of the extremity (4) being treated and cooperates on the other side with a chest harness (2) of the animal (1). The invention is characterized by the fact that the band (3) is fastened on the other side to a linkage point (7, 7′) in the upper area of the chest harness (2) on the withers or on the side.
Claims9
Orthopedic training and therapeutic device for dogs, hoofed animals, and camels that consists of at least one elastic band (3), and that at least over part (5) of its length, is fastened on one side to the middle rear paw or middle front paw of the extremity (4) being treated, and that on the other hand cooperates with a chest harness (2) of animal (1), characterized by the fact that the band (3), on the other hand, is fastened on a linkage point (7, 7′) in the upper area of the chest harness (2) on the withers or on the side.
Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by the fact that the length of the elastic part (5) in the unstretched state corresponds to 0.5 times, and the length of the non-elastic intermediate piece (6) corresponds to 0.17 times to 0.3 times, preferably 0.19 times to 0.31 times, the length (x), measured between the selected linkage point (7, 7′) on the chest harness (2) and the front side of the middle front paw, just beneath the carpal joint, or the front side of the middle rear paw, just beneath the ankle joint.
Orthopedic training and therapeutic device for dogs, hoofed animals, and camels, comprising at least one elastic band (5) at least over part of its length, and a harness, wherein the orthopedic device is attached on one side to the middle rear paw or the middle front paw of the extremity to be treated and cooperates with a chest harness (2) on an animal in that the band (5) is fastened to a linkage point in the upper area of the chest harness (2) on the withers or on the side.
