Airbag apparatus and lid thereof

An airbag apparatus for protecting an occupant of a vehicle comprising:

• an airbag,
• a unit configured to deploy the airbag toward the occupant, and
• a lid configured to cover the airbag, wherein the lid includes a lid body and a tear line disposed on a surface of the lid body;
• wherein the tear line includes a center tear line extending in a lateral direction along the surface of the lid body, a left tear line continuing from a left end of the center tear line, and a right tear line continuing from a right end of the center tear line;
• wherein the left tear line and the right tear line extend in directions of mutual intersection;
• and
• wherein an angle of intersection between the left tear line and the center tear line is an acute angle and an angle of intersection between the right tear line and the center tear line is an acute angle.
