Abstract
The invention relates to an arrangement for estimating a stress level dependent parameter on a person, comprising means for measuring a person's heart rate, means for calculating a derivate of the measured heart rate, and means for estimating a value for a stress level dependent parameter by using the calculated heart rate derivate.

A method for estimating a value for an exercise stress level de-pendent parameter in a training session performed by a person, comprising:
- measuring the person's heart rate;
- calculating a derivate of the measured heart rate;
- and
- estimating the value for an exercise stress level dependent parameter using the calculated heart rate derivate.
An arrangement for estimating an exercise stress level dependent parameter on a person, comprising:
- means for measuring the person's heart rate;
- means for calculating a derivate of the measured heart rate;
- and
- means for estimating the value for an exercise stress level dependent parameter by using the calculated heart rate derivate.
The arrangement of 21, wherein the physical condition is characterized by one or more of the following parameters:
- oxygen uptake, speed, performance in a reference exercise.
