Method and system for playing trivia games

A computer program product in a computer readable medium for playing a trivia game comprising:

• instructions for determining the total amount of time each contestant will have during the game to answer the questions asked of the contestant;
• instructions for asking questions of the contestants, the questions being selected from the compiled list of questions;
• instructions for subtracting the amount of time required to answer the question from the determined total amount of time that contestant has to answer questions;
• instructions for adding points to the contestants total score for a correct answer to the asked question.

A system for playing a trivia game comprising:

• a questioner that asks contestants various questions;
• a timekeeping mechanism to tract the amount of each contestant takes to answer a question;
• a scorer to keep track of the points that each contestant correctly answers a question;
• and
• a set of questions from which contestants will asks.
