Connecting Part for Mounting Rails

A connecting part (5) for attachment on a mounting rail (1), the connecting part comprising:

• a fastening part (2, 2′) having an at least approximately rectangular cross-section and comprising legs (11, 11′, 12, 12′), wherein the fastening part (2, 2′) in a mounted state on a mounting rail (1) surrounds the mounting rail (1) on all sides in that the fastening part (2, 2′) has a cross-section formed by the legs (11, 11′, 12, 12′) matching a cross-section of the mounting rail (1);
• the fastening part (2, 2′) having clamping devices (3, 4) for effecting a clamping fixation of the connecting part (5) on the mounting rail (1), wherein a cross-sectional plane of the fastening part (2, 2′) has two diagonally opposed corners (6, 7) and wherein the clamping devices (3, 4) are arranged on the two diagonally opposed corners (6, 7), respectively;
• wherein the legs (11, 11′, 12, 12′) have at least one bore (16) and at least one fastening screw (17) inserted into the at least one bore (16), respectively, and adapted to engage the mounting rail (1).
