Abstract

The object of the present invention is to realize a camera system that can suppress the influence of flickering. The present invention is characterized by comprising: a photographing part that generates image data from image sensors using the rolling shutter method, and a calculating part which receives image data from said photographing part as input, calculates average values of the image data, which generate lateral stripes of flickering the phases of which are shifted about 180 degrees relative to each other, for each pixel, and the calculated results are employed as the image data.

A camera system comprising:

a photographing part which generates image data from image sensors using the rolling shutter method, and
a calculating part which receives image data from said photographing part as input, calculates average values of the image data, which generate lateral stripes of flickering the phases of which are shifted about 180 degrees relative to each other, for each pixel, and the calculated results are employed as the image data.
