Printed-matter issuing managing system, printed-matter verifying device and contents managing device

A printed-matter issuing managing system comprising:

• a contents management section for managing contents;
• and
• a printed-matter verifying section for verifying the authenticity of a printing recording medium,
• wherein the printing recording medium contains ID information for specifying the contents,
• the printed-matter verifying section reads out ID information from a printing recording medium to be verified, reads an image printed on the printing recording medium to be verified, and sends the ID information and the image to the contents management section,
• the contents management section compares image information of the contents specified by the ID information, which is received from the printed-matter verifying section, with the image received from the printed-matter verifying section to verify the authenticity of the printing recording medium, and sends the verification result to the printed-matter verifying section.

A printed-matter verifying device for verifying the authenticity of a printing recording medium on which contents are printed and which contains ID information for specifying the contents, the printed-matter verifying device comprising:

• an information reading section for reading an image from the printing recording medium together with the ID information;
• a contents acquiring section which inquires of an external device on the basis of the ID information and acquires an image of contents printed on the printing recording medium;
• and
• a verifying section for comparing the image contents acquired by the contents acquiring section with the image read from the printing recording medium by the information reading section to verify the authenticity of the printing recording medium.

A contents managing device for managing contents and printing recording media with the contents printed thereon, the contents managing device comprising:

• a communication section which communicates with an external device and receives ID information for specifying contents printed on the printing recording medium and an image read out from the printing recording medium together with the ID information;
• and
• a verifying section which specifies the contents on the basis of the ID information, compares the contents with the image, and verifies the authenticity of the printing recording medium,
• wherein a verification result of the verifying section is sent to the external device by the communication section.

A printed-matter managing method comprising:

• acquiring ID information for specifying contents recorded in a printing recording medium;
• acquiring image information of the contents specified by the ID information from a contents management section;
• and
• comparing, for verification, the image information acquired from the contents management section with an image printed on a printing recording medium to be verified.
