A surgical patch which releases at least one of an anti-inflammatory agent, an anti-platelet agent, an anticoagulant agent, a fibrinolytic agent, a cell-cycle inhibitor agent, and an anti-proliferative agent.
A method for making a drug-loaded surgical patch, comprising coating all or a portion of a surgical patch with at least one of an anti-inflammatory agent, an anti-platelet agent, an anticoagulant agent, a fibrinolytic agent, a cell-cycle inhibitor agent, and an anti-proliferative agent.
