Abstract

A system for offering a delivery service to a delivery destination includes: at least one subscriber's terminal accessible to a communication network; and at least one deliverer's terminal accessible to the communication network. The at least one subscriber's terminal includes a first function unit for allowing a subscriber to set, in the at least one subscriber's terminal, a presence-at-destination information which identifies whether the subscriber is present or absent at the delivery destination. The at least one deliverer's terminal includes a second function unit for recognizing whether the subscriber is present or absent at the delivery destination, based on the presence-at-destination information.
