A method for preparing a disinfectant and sterilizing peracetic acid solution, comprising the production just before use of peracetic acid by mixing an activator (HP) with a parent mixture.

A method for preparing a disinfectant and sterilizing peracetic acid solution, comprising the production just before use of peracetic acid by mixing an activator with a parent mixture.
A disinfectant system comprising a parent solution which comprises:
- at least one acetylated compound 0.001-13.00 % w/w,
- deionized water as necessary to 100.000 % w/w
- and an activator comprising a peroxide which is designed to be added to said parent solution just before use.
