Gaming device having offer and acceptance game with a plurality of award pools, a reveal feature, and a modify feature

A gaming device comprising:

• a plurality of selections;
• a plurality of award pools, each award pool including an initial award and a plurality of awards adapted to be associated with said selections;
• at least one display device for displaying said plurality of selections and the initial award from a selected award pool;
• an award acceptor for enabling a player to accept said initial award;
• a selector for enabling said player to select one of said selections if the player does not accept the initial award;
• and
• a processor which communicates with the display device, the award acceptor and the selector, which selects an award pool from said plurality of award pools, which causes the display device to display said initial award and associates a plurality of said other awards from said selected award pool with said plurality of selections, and which provides the initial award or the award associated with one of the selections to the player.

A gaming device comprising:

• an award determined in a bonus game;
• a plurality of choices;
• a plurality of modifiers associated with said plurality of choices;
• a display device for displaying said plurality of choices;
• a choice selector for enabling a player to pick at least one of said choices;
• and
• a processor which communicates with said display device and said choice selector, which picks a choice and which modifies said award using the modifier associated with the processor picked choice if said processor picked choice is the choice picked by the player using the choice selector.

A gaming device comprising:

• a plurality of award pools, each award pool including an initial award and a plurality of alternate awards;
• a plurality of choices;
• at least one modifier associated with at least one of said plurality of choices;
• at least one display device for displaying at least one of said alternate awards, said plurality of choices and the initial award from a selected award pool;
• an award acceptor for enabling a player to accept said initial award;
• a selector for enabling said player to select one of said choices and one of said alternate awards if the player does not accept the initial award;
• and
• a processor which communicates with the display device, the award acceptor and the selector, which selects an initial award pool from said plurality of award pools, displays said initial award, which associates said modifier with one of said choices, and which modifies the player's accepted initial award or selected alternate award using the modifier associated with the processor selected choice if said processor selected choice is the choice picked by the player using the selector.

A gaming device comprising:

• a plurality of selections;
• a plurality of award pools, each award pool including an initial award and a plurality of awards adapted to be associated with said selections;
• a plurality of choices;
• at least one modifier associated with at least one of said plurality of choices;
• at least one display device for displaying said plurality of selections, said plurality of choices and at least one of said awards from a selected award pool;
• an award acceptor for enabling a player to accept said initial award;
• a selector for enabling said player to select one of said selections and one of said choices;
• and
• a processor which communicates with the display device, the award acceptor and the selector, which selects an initial award pool from said plurality of award pools, displays said initial award and associates a plurality of said remaining awards from said selected award pool with said plurality of selections, which associates said modifier with one of said choices, and which modifies the player's accepted award using the modifier associated with the processor selected choice if said processor selected choice is the choice picked by the player using the selector.

A method of operating a gaming device, said method comprising the steps of:

• (a) triggering a bonus round;
• (b) selecting an award pool from a plurality of award pools, each pool including an initial award and a plurality of alternate awards;
• (c) displaying to a player the initial award of said selected award pool;
• (d) displaying to said player at least one alternate award from said selected award pool;
• (f) enabling the player to accept said displayed initial award;
• (g) providing the player the displayed initial award if the player accepts said displayed initial award;
• (h) selecting an alternate award from said selected award pool if the player does not accept said displayed initial award;
• (i) providing the player the selected alternate award;
• and
• (j) terminating the bonus round.

A method of operating a gaming device, said method comprising the steps of:

• (a) triggering a bonus round;
• (b) selecting an award pool from a plurality of award pools, each pool including an initial award and a plurality of alternate awards;
• (c) displaying to a player the initial award in said selected award pool;
• (d) displaying to said player at least one alternate award from said selected award pool;
• (e) associating a plurality of alternate awards in the selected award pool with a plurality of selections;
• (f) enabling the player to either accept said displayed initial award or select one of the selections;
• (g) providing to the player the displayed initial award if the player accepts said displayed initial award;
• (h) revealing to the player the alternate award associated with the player selected selection if the player selects one of said selections;
• (i) providing to the player the revealed alternate award associated with the player selected selection if the player selects one of said selections;
• and
• (j) terminating the bonus round.

A method of operating a gaming device, said method comprising the steps of:

• (a) triggering a bonus round;
• (b) selecting an award pool from a plurality of award pools, each pool including an initial award and a plurality of alternate awards;
• (c) displaying to a player the initial award from said selected award pool;
• (d) displaying to said player at least one alternate award from said selected award pool;
• (f) enabling the player to accept said displayed initial award;
• (g) providing the player the displayed initial award if the player accepts said displayed initial award;
• (h) selecting an alternate award from said selected award pool if the player does not accept said displayed initial award;
• (i) providing the player the selected alternate award;
• (j) displaying to said player a plurality of choices;
• (k) associating a modifier with one of said plurality of choices;
• (l) enabling the player to select one of said plurality of choices;
• (m) modifying the player's provided award if the player selects the choice associated with said modifier;
• and
• (n) terminating the bonus round.

A method of operating a gaming device, said method comprising the steps of:

• (a) triggering a bonus round;
• (b) selecting an award pool from a plurality of award pools;
• (c) displaying to a player an initial award in said selected award pool;
• (d) displaying to said player at least one alternate award from said selected award pool;
• (e) associating a plurality of alternate awards in the selected award pool with a plurality of selections;
• (f) enabling the player to either accept said displayed initial award or select one of the selections;
• (g) providing to the player the displayed initial award if the player accepts said displayed initial award;
• (h) revealing to the player the alternate award associated with the player selected selection if the player selects one of said selections;
• (i) providing to the player the revealed alternate award associated with the player selected selection if the player selects one of said selections;
• (j) displaying to said player a plurality of choices;
• (k) associating a modifier with one of said plurality of choices;
• (l) enabling the player to select one of said plurality of choices;
• (m) modifying the player's provided award if the player selects the choice associated with said modifier;
• and
• (n) terminating the bonus round.
