An electrical device, comprising two housing parts (2, 3) that can be combined into one closed housing (1), the housing parts, in the joined state, enclosing a housing interior space, an electrical/electronic circuit element (4) arranged in the housing interior space, and a sealing material (12, 13) for protecting the circuit element (4),

• wherein the two housing parts (2, 3) are configured as half-shells, and the interior area of the half-shells (2, 3) is, in each case, subdivided by interior walls (25, 26, 35, 36) into at least two chambers (20, 27a, 27b, 30, 37a, 37b), of which, in each case, a first chamber (20, 30) is filled with the sealing material (12, 13) and has spatial dimensions that are larger than the dimensions of the circuit element (4), the interior walls (35, 36) of the second half-shell (3), in the joined state of the two half-shells (2, 3), overlapping with distance (d) the interior walls (25, 26) of the first half-shell (2), the interior walls (25, 26) of the first half-shell (2) penetrating a distance into the first chamber (30) of the second half-shell (3), and the circuit element (4) between the two half-shells (2, 3) being enveloped by the sealing material (12, 13) contained in the two first chambers (20, 30) up to its electrical connections (6, 15).
