Abstract
An apparatus for controlling a throttle valve has a body member made of resin. The body member contains a motor for controlling a throttle valve. The motor has a yoke as a one of components thereof. The yoke is exposed to an intake passage at a slightly upstream side of the throttle valve. According to the arrangement, heat radiation from the motor is improved by intake airflow, and the throttle valve can be prevented from an icing malfunction.
Claims24
An apparatus for controlling a throttle valve, comprising:
- a valve which regulates an air amount flowing in an intake pipe of an internal combustion engine in accordance with an opening degree;
- and
- a motor which operates the throttle valve to change the opening degree, wherein
- at least a part of a yoke of the motor is arranged to dissipate heat to the air.
An apparatus for controlling a throttle valve, comprising:
- a valve which regulates an air amount flowing in an intake pipe of an internal combustion engine in accordance with an opening degree;
- a motor which operates the throttle valve to change the opening degree;
- and
- a member which defines the intake pipe accommodating the valve and a passage in which a heat conductive medium flows, wherein the passage is arranged along an outside of the valve, and a part of the passage is arranged through a vicinity of the motor.
An apparatus for controlling a throttle valve for regulating an amount of air flowing in an intake pipe of an internal combustion engine, comprising:
- a body member made of a resin which has a concavity for housing a motor component;
- and
- a bearing holder member made of the same resin of the body member which is formed to cover the concavity and supports a bearing member for supporting an end of a rotation shaft of the motor component, wherein the bearing holder member is fixed on the body member by a welding.
The motor apparatus, comprising:
- a body member made of a resin having a concavity for housing a motor component;
- and
- a bearing holder member fixed on the body member, which supports a bearing member for supporting an end of a rotation shaft of the motor component, wherein the body member and the bearing member are made of the same resin, and the bearing holder member is fixed on the body member by a welding.
An apparatus for controlling a throttle valve, the throttle valve being supported on a rotation shaft extending across an intake air passage, comprising:
- an inner cylindrical member which defines the intake air passage where the throttle valve is disposed;
- an outer cylindrical member disposed on an outside of the inner cylindrical member, the outer and inner cylindrical member defining a passage through which a heat conductive medium flows, the passage being arranged substantially around the intake passage;
- and
- at least two bridge portions which bridge the inner and outer cylindrical members and are disposed on vicinities of the rotation shaft.
An apparatus for controlling a throttle valve, the throttle valve being disposed in an intake passage, comprising:
- a body member which defines the intake passage and defines a passage through which a heat conductive medium flows, the passage being arranged substantially around the intake passage;
- and
- a connecting pipe integrally formed with the body member for flowing the heat conductive medium through the passage, wherein the body member including a first body member and a second body member which are formed to divide the body member axially, and wherein the connecting pipe including a first pipe portion and a second pipe portion which are integrally formed with the first body member and the second body member respectively.
A method for manufacturing an apparatus for controlling a throttle valve, the throttle valve being disposed in an intake passage, comprising:
- forming a first body member and a second body member which correspond to divided portion parts of a body member divided axially along an intake passage defined by the body member, the body member defining a passage through which a heat conductive medium flows, the passage being arranged substantially around the intake passage;
- forming a first pipe portion and a second pipe portion integrally with the first body member and the second body member respectively, the first and second pipe portions corresponding to divided parts of a connecting pipe for flowing the heat conductive medium through the passage;
- and
- assembling the first and second body members into the body member and the first and second pipe portions into the connecting pipe simultaneously.
A method for manufacturing an apparatus for controlling a throttle valve, the throttle valve being disposed in an intake passage, comprising:
- forming a body member which defines the intake passage and a passage being arranged substantially around the intake passage, wherein the passage is formed by using at least one of a blow resin forming method and a lost wax resin forming method through an opening connected to the passage so that the body member is a seamless.
