Optical apparatus, optical apparatus driving unit and camera system

An optical apparatus comprising:

• an optical member;
• manual operation means for manually driving said optical member;
• a driving motor for electrically driving said optical member;
• determination means for determining either manual drive by said manual operation means or electrical drive by said driving motor;
• connection means for transmitting drive force by said driving motor to said optical member with a predetermined connection torque;
• state detection means for detecting the state of said optical apparatus and outputting state detection information;
• and
• control means for setting the connection torque of said connection means based on the result of determination by said determination means;
• wherein said control means varies said set connection torque according to said state detection information from said state detection means.

An optical apparatus comprising:

• an optical member;
• manual operation means for manually driving said optical member;
• a driving motor for electrically driving said optical member;
• instruction operation means having an operation member and adapted to provide said driving motor with a drive instruction according to the operation of said operation member;
• determination means for determining either manual drive by said manual operation means or electrical drive by said driving motor based on said drive instruction from said instruction operation means;
• connection means for transmitting drive by said driving motor to said optical member with a predetermined connection torque;
• and
• control means for setting the connection torque of said connection means based on the result of determination by said determination means;
• wherein said control means varies said set connection torque according to said drive instruction from said instruction operation means.

An optical apparatus comprising:

• an optical member;
• manual operation means for manually driving said optical member;
• a driving motor for electrically driving said optical member;
• determination means for determining either manual drive by said manual operation means or electrical drive by said driving motor;
• connection means for transmitting drive force by said driving motor to said optical member with a predetermined connection torque;
• and
• control means for setting the connection torque of said connection means based on the result of determination by said determination means;
• wherein said control means, upon detecting an operation of said manual operation means in the course of electrical drive by said driving motor, varies said set connection torque in response to said operation.

An optical apparatus driving unit mounted or connected to a main body of an optical apparatus including an optical member, the unit comprising:

• an optical member;
• manual operation means for manually driving said optical member;
• a driving motor for electrically driving said optical member;
• determination means for determining either manual drive by said manual operation means or electrical drive by said driving motor;
• connection means for transmitting drive force by said driving motor to said optical member with a predetermined connection torque;
• and
• control means for varying the connection torque of said connection means based on the result of determination by said determination means.

A camera system including a camera on which an optical apparatus is mounted, the system comprising:

• an optical member;
• manual operation means for manually driving said optical member;
• a driving motor for electrically driving said optical member;
• determination means for determining either manual drive by said manual operation means or electrical drive by said driving motor;
• connection means for transmitting drive force by said driving motor to said optical member with a predetermined connection torque;
• and
• control means for varying the connection torque of said connection means based on the result of determination by said determination means.
