A plastic article with a coating containing at least one zinc oxide-containing layer and at least one abrasion-resistant outer layer.
An article containing transparent plastics selected from the group comprising polyamide, polyethylene, polypropylene, polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene, polvinyl cyclohexane and copolymers thereof, acrylonitrile/butadiene/styrene copolymers (ABS), polyvinyl chloride, polycarbonate and blends thereof and a coating containing at least one zinc oxide-containing layer and at least one abrasion-resistant outer layer.
