Abstract
The present invention relates to a system and a method for the optimization of an analysis, said system comprising a telecommunication network and analysis means for analyzing data associated with calls. According to the invention, the analysis means comprise a generic analysis mechanism and one or more analysis functions utilizing the analysis mechanism. The invention makes it possible to avoid interpenetrating analysis implementations, thus reducing the costs.

System for the optimization of an analysis, said system comprising a telecommunication network (1) and analysis means (2) for analyzing data associated with calls, characterized in that the analysis means (2) comprise
- a generic analysis mechanism (20), which performs an analysis using an analysis tree, but which does not understand the meaning of the data being processed by it;
- and
- one or more analysis functions (21, 22, . . . , 2N) which utilize the analysis mechanism (20) and understand the meaning of the data they are processing and are able to utilize the data obtained as a result of the analysis.
Method for the optimization of an analysis, in which method data associated with calls is analyzed using analysis means (2) in a telecommunication network (1), characterized in that
- the analysis is performed by a generic analysis mechanism (20) using an analysis tree, said analysis mechanism (20) being unable to understand the meaning of the data being processed by it;
- and
- the analysis mechanism (20) is utilized by one or more analysis functions (21, 22, . . . , 2N) which understand the meaning of the data being processed by the analysis mechanism (20) and are able to utilize the data obtained as a result of the analysis.
