Abstract
A load drive apparatus is comprised of a plurality of intelligent power devices (IPD) connected in parallel and a plurality of control units. Each IPD comprises power MOS transistors for on/off control thereof. One voltage supply line and one ground line are used in common for each of the power MOS transistors and for each of the control units. A capacitor and a resistor are connected in series between a power source terminal and a ground terminal in order to control LC oscillation with an inductance element and the capacitor.
Claims16
A load drive apparatus for switching a current supplied from a power source to a load by driving switching means, which has a switching device and a control unit for controlling a switching operation of the switching device, the load drive apparatus comprising:
- a power source terminal connected to a power source side of the power source;
- a ground terminal connected to a ground side of the power source;
- a voltage supply line connected to the power source terminal to supply a voltage to the switching device and the control unit;
- and
- a ground line connecting the switching device and the control unit to the ground terminal.
