Abstract
The invention relates to a scanner, in particular for the detection of one-dimensional and/or two-dimensional codes, having a light receiver arranged in a housing and an optical receiving system associated therewith and also accommodated in the housing, wherein at least one light source is additionally provided in the housing to illuminate the region to be scanned arranged in a scanning plane.

A scanner, in particular for the detection of one-dimensional and/or two-dimensional codes (13), having a light receiver (5) arranged in a housing (1) and an optical receiving system (7) associated therewith and also accommodated in the housing (1), characterized in that at least one light source (9) is additionally provided in the housing (1) to illuminate the region to be scanned arranged in an object plane (12).
