Abstract
A computer generated document file comprises content data and template data including, for example, formatting information. The size of the document file is reduced by removing unused and/or duplicate template data.

A method of reducing a size of a document file including content data and template data, the method comprising:
- removing unused template data from the document file;
- and
- removing duplicate template data from the document file.
A computer program product for reducing a size of a document file comprising content data and template data, the computer program product comprising program code for a method comprising:
- removing unused template data from the document file;
- and
- removing duplicate template data from the document file.
A system comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory coupled to said processor, and having stored therein computer code for a method for reducing a size of a document file comprising content data and template data wherein upon execution of said computer code on said processor said method comprises:
- removing unused template data from the document file;
- and
- removing duplicate template data from the document file.
