Apparatuses and methods involving use of context data in data-communications

A method for use in a data-communications system including a data-communications server circuit configured as a virtual assistant and computer circuitry, to provide data-communication services by conveying data communications, to a client-specific endpoint device associated with a client entity registered to receive one or more of the data-communication services, the method comprising:

• generating context data via a machine learning algorithm executed by the computer circuitry, wherein the context data is indicative of at least one communications-specific characteristic associated with the data communications;
• adjusting, in response to or based on the context data, a set of stored data that is linked to the client-specific endpoint device and that concerns communication-related interactions or events involving one or more users of the client-specific endpoint device;
• and
• prompting, after the set of stored data is adjusted, the data-communications server circuit to provide the one or more of the data-communication services on behalf of the one or more users of the client-specific endpoint device based on the set of stored data.

In a system, including a data-communications server circuit, to provide data-communication services by conveying data communications to a client-specific endpoint device associated with a client entity registered to receive one or more of the data-communication services, an apparatus comprising:

• computer circuitry configured to execute a machine learning algorithm, via a set of stored data that is linked to the client-specific endpoint device and that concerns communication-related interactions or events involving one or more users of the client-specific endpoint device, to generate context data that is indicative of at least one communications-specific characteristic associated with the data communications;
• wherein the apparatus is configured to adjust, in response to or based on the context data, the set of stored data that is linked to the client-specific endpoint device;
• and
• wherein the apparatus is configured to the data-communications server circuit to provide the one or more of the data-communication services on behalf of the one or more users of the client-specific endpoint device based on the set of stored data.
