Abstract
An authenticity software platform receives an indication of an external web action and determines a first provenance for a first external web location at which the web action occurs. The authenticity software platform determines a second provenance for an external result occurring in response to the web action. The authenticity software platform determines an extant of trust based at least in part on the first and the second provenance for the result.
Claims19
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- defining, by an authenticity software platform prior to an external web action, a trust relationship between a plurality of different affiliate entities participating in an authentic network managed by the authenticity software platform, wherein the authenticity software platform is configured to generate an anonymized membership identifier (AMID) for an affiliate entity;
- receiving, by authenticity software platform, an indication of an external web action;
- determining, by the authenticity software platform, a first provenance for a first external web location at which the web action occurs, wherein the first external web location includes the AMID and corresponds to a first affiliate entity of the plurality of different affiliate entities;
- determining, by the authenticity software platform, a second provenance for an external result occurring in response to the web action, the external result comprising accessing a second external web location different from the first external web location and corresponding to a second affiliate entity of the plurality of different affiliate entities;
- and
- determining, by the authenticity software platform, an extant of trust based at least in part on the first and the second provenance for the result.
A system comprising one or more processors, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium including one or more sequences of instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to perform operations comprising:
- defining, by an authenticity software platform prior to an external web action, a trust relationship between a plurality of different affiliate entities participating in an authentic network managed by the authenticity software platform, wherein the authenticity software platform is configured to generate an anonymized membership identifier for an affiliate entity (AMID);
- receiving, by the authenticity software platform, an indication of an external web action;
- determining, by the authenticity software platform, a first provenance for a first external web location at which the web action occurs, wherein the first external web location includes the AMID and corresponds to a first affiliate entity of the plurality of different affiliate entities;
- determining, by the authenticity software platform, a second provenance for an external result occurring in response to the web action, the external result comprising accessing a second external web location different from the first external web location and corresponding to a second affiliate entity of the plurality of different affiliate entities;
- and
- determining, by the authenticity software platform, an extant of trust based at least in part on the first and the second provenance for the result.
A computer program product comprising a non-transitory computer-readable medium having a computer-readable program code embodied therein to be executed by one or more processors, the program code including instructions for:
- defining, by an authenticity software platform prior to an external web action, a trust relationship between a plurality of different affiliate entities participating in an authentic network managed by the authenticity software platform, wherein the authenticity software platform is configured to generate an anonymized membership identifier for an affiliate entity (AMID);
- receiving, by the authenticity software platform, an indication of an external web action;
- determining, by the authenticity software platform, a first provenance for a first external web location at which the web action occurs, wherein the first external web location includes the AMID and corresponds to a first affiliate entity of the plurality of different affiliate entities;
- determining, by the authenticity software platform, a second provenance for an external result occurring in response to the web action, the external result comprising accessing a second external web location different from the first external web location and corresponding to a second affiliate entity of the plurality of different affiliate entities;
- and
- determining, by the authenticity software platform, an extant of trust based at least in part on the first and the second provenance for the result.
