Negative electrode, method for manufacturing the same, and secondary battery comprising the same

A negative electrode comprising:

• a current collector having a front surface and a rear surface which respectively have a continuous surface;
• a negative electrode active material layer on the front surface of the current collector;
• and
• a polymer layer on the rear surface of the current collector,
• wherein the negative electrode active material layer is not in direct contact with the polymer layer,
• wherein the negative electrode active material layer is in direct contact with the current collector, and
• wherein the polymer layer comprises a copolymer having a first unit represented by Formula 1, and at least one of a second unit represented by Formula 2 or a third unit represented by Formula 3:
• wherein, in Formula 3, R is each independently H or CH2CO2H.
