Multilayer electronic component including Ni-Pd base electrode layer

A multilayer electronic component comprising:

• a body including a dielectric layer and internal electrodes alternately arranged with the dielectric layer in a first direction, the body including a first surface and a second surface opposing each other in the first direction, a third surface and a fourth surface connected to the first surface and the second surface and opposing each other in a second direction, and a fifth surface and a sixth surface connected to the first surface to the fourth surface and opposing each other in a third direction;
• and
• an external electrode disposed on the third surface and the fourth surface,
• wherein the external electrode includes a base electrode layer connected to the internal electrodes and including Ni and Pd, and an intermediate electrode layer disposed on the base electrode layer and including Cu and glass,
• wherein the internal electrodes include a first region away from a center of the internal electrodes in the second direction, and
• wherein a content of Pd included in the first region is greater than a content of Pd included in a remaining region, excluding the first region in the internal electrodes.

A multilayer electronic component comprising:

• a body including a dielectric layer and internal electrodes alternately disposed with the dielectric layer in a first direction, the internal electrodes including Ni;
• and
• an external electrode disposed on the body and connected to the internal electrodes,
• wherein the external electrode comprises a base electrode layer including a first layer contacting the body and a second layer disposed on the first layer, the first layer having more Pd content relative to a remainder of the base electrode layer, and
• wherein the external electrode further includes an intermediate electrode layer disposed on the base electrode layer and including Cu and glass.
