Automated system for authentication and monitoring use of an artificial intelligence engine

A computer program product for authentication and monitoring of an artificial intelligence (AI) engine, the computer program product comprising a non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising code causing an apparatus to:

• receive, from a first network device, a first set of binary data associated with an AI engine;
• calculate, based on the first set of binary data, a first engine hash value;
• store the first engine hash value on a transaction object, wherein the transaction object is immutably recorded on a distributed ledger to prevent tampering with the first engine hash value;
• based on receiving, from a second network device, an approval of the first set of binary data, wherein the approval is initiated by a second user associated with the second network device, update an approval status of the transaction object on the distributed ledger, wherein the approval status indicates whether the AI engine has been authorized for deployment;
• receive, from a network device associated with a final user, a second set of binary data associated with the AI engine;
• calculate, based on the second set of binary data, a second engine hash value;
• compare the second engine hash value to the first engine hash value stored on the distributed ledger;
• and
• based on the approval status of the transaction object indicating the AI engine has been authorized for deployment and based on determining that the second engine hash value matches the first engine hash value stored on the distributed ledger, thereby verifying the integrity of the AI engine,
• instruct the network device associated with the final user to allow the final user to launch the AI engine, wherein the AI engine is prevented from launching if the second engine hash value does not match the first engine hash value or if the approval status does not indicate authorization for deployment.

A method for authentication and monitoring of an artificial intelligence (AI) engine, the method comprising:

• receiving, from a first network device, a first set of binary data associated with an AI engine;
• calculating, based on the first set of binary data, a first engine hash value;
• storing the first engine hash value on a transaction object, wherein the transaction object is immutably recorded on a distributed ledger to prevent tampering with the first engine hash value;
• based on receiving, from a second network device, an approval of the first set of binary data, wherein the approval is initiated by a second user associated with the second network device, updating an approval status of the transaction object on the distributed ledger, wherein the approval status indicates whether the AI engine has been authorized for deployment;
• receiving, from a network device associated with a final user, a second set of binary data associated with the AI engine;
• calculating, based on the second set of binary data, a second engine hash value;
• comparing the second engine hash value to the first engine hash value stored on the distributed ledger;
• and
• based on the approval status of the transaction object indicating the AI engine has been authorized for deployment and based on determining that the second engine hash value matches the first engine hash value stored on the distributed ledger, thereby verifying the integrity of the AI engine,
• instructing the network device associated with the final user to allow the final user to launch the AI engine, wherein the AI engine is prevented from launching if the second engine hash value does not match the first engine hash value or if the approval status does not indicate authorization for deployment.
