A method of drilling a hydrocarbon production well in a subsurface formation. The method includes training a convolutional neural network (CNN) using training data including information of gas exsolution, a seismic indicator, a chemical indicator, and a petrophysical indicator. The method further includes providing an input image including a seismic cross-section of a subsurface formation to the CNN, where the subsurface formation includes an uplifted or faulted region. The method further includes providing chemical information of hydrocarbons present in a location within the subsurface formation. The chemical information is obtained from a fluid sample collected from the location. The method further includes providing petrophysical information at the location, and computing a probability of gas exsolution using the CNN based on the seismic cross-section, the chemical information, and the petrophysical information. Based on the probability, locations of structural traps where hydrocarbons accumulate in the subsurface formation can be identified.
