Electrolytic solution, magnesium production method, magnesium, and magnesium foil

An electrolytic solution comprising:

• magnesium chloride;
• lithium chloride;
• and
• an aprotic solvent,
• wherein the magnesium chloride and the lithium chloride are dissolved in a total concentration of 0.16 mol or more and 0.3 mol or less, relative to 1 mol of the aprotic solvent at room temperature,
• the magnesium chloride is dissolved in a concentration of 0.08 mol or more and 0.2 mol or less relative to 1 mol of the aprotic solvent at room temperature,
• the lithium chloride is dissolved in a concentration of 0.08 mol or more and 0.2 mol or less relative to 1 mol of the aprotic solvent at room temperature, and
• the aprotic solvent is tetrahydrofuran.
