Abstract
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to multiplex vehicle wheel assemblies which can be used to improve various aspects of transportation using vehicles, namely, using wheeled vehicles.
Claims10
A system of visually indicating at least one of:
- an electrified vehicle operation, functioning, or safety modality, the system comprising:
- an electrified vehicle having at least two wheel assemblies, the at least two wheel assemblies each having rim structures and a tire connected to at least a portion of the rim structures;
- at least one tread on an outer surface of the tire, the tread having at least one tread groove formed within the outer surface of the tire;
- a light assembly incorporated in each of the at least two wheel assemblies, the light assembly being an embedded light assembly with at least one light-emitting diode (LED) positioned within the at least one tread groove of the at least one tread of the tire;
- and
- at least one on-board computer carried by the electrified vehicle and controlling illumination techniques of the embedded light assembly, wherein the embedded light assembly illuminates corresponding to at least one of:
- an electrified vehicle operation, an electrified vehicle functioning, or an electrified vehicle safety modality.
