Abstract
A striking tool 100 in which striking operation is done in a state that the striking tool 100 is downwardly dropped by the own weight, having a motor 210 with an output shaft to drive the drive mechanism, a controller 260 to control the motor 210, a functional member 280 to assist the striking operation and a controller case 270 to hold the controller 260, wherein the controller case 270 further holds the functional member 280.
Claims8
A striking tool comprising:
- an elongated main housing having a longitudinal axis extending in a first direction, and including a tool holder at one end of the elongated main housing, the tool holder being configured to detachably hold an end tool;
- a pair of handles, each extending in a second direction intersecting with the first direction;
- a motor including a motor output shaft;
- a controller configured to control driving of the motor;
- a controller case holding the controller;
- and
- a plurality of functional members attached to the controller case and configured to assist a striking operation,
- wherein:
- the controller case includes a frame partially accommodating the controller therein, and a functional member mounting portion which protrudes outwards from the frame and to which the plurality of functional members are attached,
- the functional member mounting portion includes
- a wireless communication interface mounting portion that extends at an angle in a box shape from the frame wherein:
- the elongated main housing includes a first housing and a second housing that is, together with the pair of handles, movable relative to the first housing,
- the plurality of functional members each include an elastic member disposed to intervene between the first housing and the second housing, and a displacement sensor configured to detect relative movement of the second housing to the first housing in a case that a user pushes the pair of handles to start the striking operation,
- the motor is disposed at the first housing,
- the pair of handles and the controller case are disposed at the second housing, and
- the controller is configured to switch the motor based on detection by the displacement sensor from a driving state at a first speed to the driving state at a second speed which is faster than the first speed.
