Method and system for extinguishing a fire

A method of extinguishing a fire comprising the steps of:

• receiving at a home location, by an electronic device, data about a fire from a satellite, the data including at least a location, size, and temperature of the fire;
• determining, based on the data, an amount of fire extinguishant required to extinguish the fire, the fire extinguishant being liquid nitrogen;
• determining, based on the determined amount of fire extinguishant, a type of aerial vehicle, wherein the type of aerial vehicle includes a plurality of the type of aerial vehicle;
• determining portions of the fire extinguishant to load onto each of the plurality of the type of aerial vehicle based on a flight time to the location of the fire, wherein the portions can be the same or different;
• loading each of the plurality of the type of aerial vehicle with the respective portion of the fire extinguishant, the amount of loaded fire extinguishant being a payload;
• deploying, from the home location, each of the plurality of the loaded type of aerial vehicle to the location of the fire;
• spraying, by each of the plurality of the loaded determined type of aerial vehicle, the fire extinguishant on the fire;
• and
• after completing said spraying step, flying, by each of the plurality of the determined type of aerial vehicle, from the location of the fire to the home location.
