Abstract
A method of operating a transmitting radio node for a wireless communication network. The method includes transmitting synchronisation signaling in a synchronisation time interval, the synchronisation signaling comprising primary synchronisation signaling, the primary synchronisation signaling spanning two or more allocation units of the synchronisation time interval. The disclosure also pertains to related devices and methods.

A method of operating a transmitting radio node for a wireless communication network, the method comprising:
- transmitting synchronisation signaling in a synchronisation time interval, the synchronisation signaling comprising primary synchronisation signaling, the primary synchronisation signaling spanning two or more adjacent symbol time intervals of allocation units of the synchronisation time interval, a signaling sequence associated to one of the allocation units being composed of a plurality of composite sequences that are based on a same root sequence.
A transmitting radio node for a wireless communication network, the transmitting radio node comprising processing circuitry, the processing circuitry being configured to:
- cause transmission of synchronisation signaling in a synchronisation time interval, the synchronisation signaling comprising primary synchronisation signaling, the primary synchronisation signaling spanning two or more adjacent symbol time intervals of allocation units of the synchronisation time interval, a signaling sequence associated to one of the allocation units being composed of a plurality of composite sequences that are based on a same root sequence.
A method of operating a receiving radio node for a wireless communication network, the method comprising communicating with one or both of the wireless communication network and a transmitting radio node based on received synchronisation signaling, the synchronisation signaling spanning a synchronisation time interval, and the synchronisation signaling comprising primary synchronisation signaling, the primary synchronisation signaling spanning two or more adjacent symbol time intervals of allocation units of the synchronisation time interval, a signaling sequence associated to one of the allocation units being composed of a plurality of composite sequences that are based on a same root sequence.
A receiving radio node for a wireless communication network, the receiving radio node comprising processing circuitry, the processing circuitry being configured to:
- communicate with one or both of the wireless communication network and a transmitting radio node based on received synchronisation signaling, the synchronisation signaling spanning a synchronisation time interval, and the synchronisation signaling comprising primary synchronisation signaling, the primary synchronisation signaling spanning two or more adjacent symbol time intervals of allocation units of the synchronisation time interval, a signaling sequence associated to one of the allocation units being composed of a plurality of composite sequences that are based on a same root sequence.
A non-transitory computer storage medium storing a computer program comprising instructions causing processing circuitry to one or both control and perform a method of operating a transmitting radio node for a wireless communication network, the method comprising:
- transmitting synchronisation signaling in a synchronisation time interval, the synchronisation signaling comprising primary synchronisation signaling, the primary synchronisation signaling spanning two or more adjacent symbol time intervals of allocation units of the synchronisation time interval, a signaling sequence associated to one of the allocation units being composed of a plurality of composite sequences that are based on a same root sequence.
