Abstract
An apparatus for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes a receiver and a transmitter. The receiver is configured to receive a message indicating power adjustment information associated with one or more transmission and reception points (TRPs) and to receive a transmission of a reference signal via the one or more TRPs. The transmitter is configured to transmit, in accordance with the power adjustment information and the transmission of the reference signal, a measurement report indicating precoder information associated with the one or more TRPs.
Claims30
A user equipment (UE) for wireless communication, the UE comprising:
- a receiver configured to receive a message indicating power adjustment information associated with a plurality of transmission and reception points (TRPs) and to receive a transmission of a reference signal via the plurality of TRPs, wherein the power adjustment information includes an indication that the power adjustment information is associated with at least a particular TRP among the plurality of TRPs and is further associated with a particular TRP amplitude backoff value that is to be applied at the particular TRP;
- and
- a transmitter configured to transmit, in accordance with the power adjustment information and the transmission of the reference signal, a measurement report indicating precoder information associated with the plurality of TRPs.
A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
- receiving a message indicating power adjustment information associated with a plurality of transmission and reception points (TRPs), wherein the power adjustment information includes an indication that the power adjustment information is associated with at least a particular TRP among the plurality of TRPs and is further associated with a particular TRP amplitude backoff value that is to be applied at the particular TRP;
- receiving a transmission of a reference signal via the plurality of TRPs;
- and
- transmitting, in accordance with the power adjustment information and the transmission of the reference signal, a measurement report indicating precoder information associated with the plurality of TRPs.
A network node for wireless communication, the network node comprising:
- a transmitter configured to transmit a message indicating power adjustment information associated with a plurality of transmission and reception points (TRPs) and to transmit a reference signal via the plurality of TRPs, wherein the power adjustment information includes an indication that the power adjustment information is associated with at least a particular TRP among the plurality of TRPs and is further associated with a particular TRP amplitude backoff value that is to be applied at the particular TRP;
- and
- a receiver configured to receive, in accordance with the power adjustment information and the transmission of the reference signal, a measurement report indicating precoder information associated with the plurality of TRPs.
A method of wireless communication performed by a network node, the method comprising:
- transmitting a message indicating power adjustment information associated with a plurality of transmission and reception points (TRPs), wherein the power adjustment information includes an indication that the power adjustment information is associated with at least a particular TRP among the plurality of TRPs and is further associated with a particular TRP amplitude backoff value that is to be applied at the particular TRP;
- transmitting a reference signal via the plurality of TRPs;
- and
- receiving, in accordance with the power adjustment information and the transmission of the reference signal, a measurement report indicating precoder information associated with the plurality of TRPs.
