A method for operating a user equipment includes: in case that an access mode-related validity element corresponds to access mode configuration information of the user equipment, the user equipment applies user equipment route selection policy information by routing traffic that matches the user equipment route selection policy information according to the user equipment route selection policy information; and in case that the access mode-related validity element does not correspond to the access mode configuration information of the user equipment, the user equipment skips the user equipment route selection policy information.
A method for operating a user equipment,
A user equipment, comprising:
A non-transitory computer-readable medium having processor-executable instructions stored thereon for operating a user equipment, wherein the user equipment comprises, for a given access technology, access mode configuration information, the access mode configuration information relating to or indicating a first network selection mode and at least a second network selection mode that the user equipment is alternatively able to use, wherein each of the network selection modes allows the user equipment to select telecommunications networks based on different kinds or sets of information elements identifying each telecommunications network and/or indicating the capabilities of each telecommunications network, wherein a predefined first set of networks is related to the first network selection mode and a predefined second set of networks is related to the second network selection mode, wherein the predefined first set of telecommunications networks corresponds to or comprises public land mobile networks, wherein the predefined second set of telecommunications networks corresponds to or comprises standalone non-public networks;
