Abstract
To prevent the spread of Covid-19 and other contagious diseases, a touchless handshake is able to be implemented using mobile devices. The touchless handshake is able to be performed by sending a signal from one device to another (or to multiple devices) which triggers the device to vibrate to simulate a handshake. Additionally, mobile devices are able to be used to send and/or display a wave/spin.
Claims20
A method programmed in a non-transitory memory of a device comprising:
- detecting one or more nearby devices;
- generating a network;
- and
- establishing a network connection with the one or more devices by detecting an indication of a desire to join the network on the one or more devices, wherein establishing the network connection with the one or more devices is based on proximity and one or more shared interests, wherein a spin mechanism provides a visual signal observable by users of the one or more devices, for establishing the network connection by prompting a user to open a device and join the network, wherein the network is formed by inclusion of a plurality of devices in response to a coordinated activation of the spin mechanism by the plurality of devices.

- a non-transitory memory for storing an application, the application for:
- detecting one or more nearby devices;
- generating a network;
- and
