Abstract
A system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program and a computer-implemented method for providing personalized content sharing service is presented. Consistent with some embodiments, the method may include receiving a request to share a content item with a member of the social network. The method may further include determining an interest of the member of the social network based on social data about the member of the social network. A customized posting to share the content item with the member of the social network is then generated using the interest of the user.
Claims20
A system comprising:
- one or more hardware processors of a machine;
- and
- a machine-readable storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more hardware processors, cause the machine to perform operations comprising:
- receiving a request to share a content item with a member of a social network;
- retrieving, via one or more application programming interface (API) calls, social network activity data that indicates positive engagement by the member with a plurality of content sharing postings;
- determining, based on the positive engagement by the member with the plurality of content sharing postings, a format of social network postings, wherein the plurality of content sharing postings are formatted in the format;
- generating a personalized social network posting for the content item in the format;
- and
- publishing the personalized social network posting for display on a device of the member.
A method comprising:
- receiving a request to share a content item with a member of a social network;
- retrieving, via one or more application programming interface (API) calls, social network activity data that indicates positive engagement by the member with a plurality of content sharing postings;
- determining, based on the positive engagement by the member with the plurality of content sharing postings, a format of social network postings, wherein the plurality of content sharing postings are formatted in the format;
- generating a personalized social network posting for the content item in the format;
- and
- publishing the personalized social network posting for display on a device of the member.
A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by one or more hardware processors of a machine, cause the one or more hardware processors to perform operations comprising:
- receiving a request to share a content item with a member of a social network;
- retrieving, via one or more application programming interface (API) calls, social network activity data that indicates positive engagement by the member with a plurality of content sharing postings;
- determining, based on the positive engagement by the member with the plurality of content sharing postings, a format of social network postings, wherein the plurality of content sharing postings are formatted in the format;
- generating a personalized social network posting for the content item in the format;
- and
- publishing the personalized social network posting for display on a device of the member.
