Display device and method of driving the same, and electronic device including the display device

A method of driving a display device, the method comprising:

• generating a voltage of first driving power corresponding to a voltage code during a correction period in response to a sensing control signal, wherein the correction period is positioned at a time point at which power is supplied to the display device after a usage time of the display device exceeds a preset threshold value;
• measuring the voltage of the first driving power and generating a sensing voltage;
• comparing the sensing voltage with a target voltage corresponding to the voltage code, and generating an offset;
• and
• generating a compensation look-up table (LUT) using the offset.

An electronic device comprising:

• a display panel including pixels;
• a voltage generation circuit configured to supply a voltage of first driving power to the display panel based on a voltage code;
• a current/voltage sensing component configured to measure, during a correction period in response to a sensing control signal, the voltage of the first driving power supplied to the display panel and to generate a sensing voltage, wherein the correction period is positioned at a time point at which power is supplied to the dislay panel after a usage time of the display panel exceeds a preset threshold value;
• and
• a controller configured to generate the voltage code based on pieces of input data,
• wherein the controller is configured to generate, during the correction period, a compensation LUT such that a target voltage corresponding to the voltage code matches with the sensing voltage.
