Abstract
The disclosure includes a display panel, and a support layer positioned on the display panel. The support layer includes a metal layer, and an elastic layer positioned on opposing sides of the metal layer, and the metal layer has an alternate structure in which grooves are alternately defined on the opposing sides thereof.
Claims21
A display device comprising:
- a display panel;
- and
- a support layer positioned on the display panel,
- wherein the support layer includes:
- a metal layer positioned below the display panel;
- and
- an elastic layer positioned on opposing surfaces of the metal layer below the display panel, and
- the metal layer below the display panel has an undulated cross-sectional shape formed by repeated convex and concave grooves in an alternate structure such that the grooves are alternately defined on each of the opposing surfaces thereof,
- wherein the convex and concave grooves are formed in a single metal layer such that both opposing surfaces of the metal layer define the undulated cross-sectional shape, and
- wherein portions of the elastic layer are positioned within the grooves defined on both the opposing surfaces of the metal layer.
