Toner

A toner, comprising:

• a toner particle comprising a toner base particle and an organosilicon polymer at a surface of the toner base particle;
• the toner base particle comprising a binder resin and having protruded portions constituted from the organosilicon polymer present at the surface of the toner base particle, wherein
• a storage elastic modulus at 100° C. of a disc-like specimen obtained by compression molding the toner into a disc-like shape is 8000 to 50,000 Pa, and
• R0 is 0.30 to 0.70 and (R0−R1)/R0 is 0.20 or less when after a container with the toner particle and a magnetic carrier is reciprocatingly shaken for 10 hours at a stroke rate of 150/min, a stroke width of 80 mm and a shaking angle of 90°, the toner particle is measured in terms of a total area S of a surface of the toner particle and an area Sc of those regions of the surface of the toner base particle coated with the organosilicon polymer at the surface of the toner particle before and after shaking, and R0 is a value of Sc/S for the toner particle before shaking and R1 is a value of Sc/S for the toner particle after shaking.
