Display apparatus

A display apparatus, comprising:

• an image light generation apparatus configured to generate image light;
• a light guide plate configured to guide the image light from the image light generation apparatus to an eyeball, wherein
• the light guide plate includes:
• a light guide plate main body including:
• a light incident surface, wherein the image light enters the light guide plate main body via the light incident surface, and
• an optical surface group including a plurality of optical surfaces, wherein the plurality of optical surfaces is configured to guide the image light via the light incident surface;
• at least one reflection surface inside the light guide plate main body, wherein the at least one reflection surface is configured to reflect the image light via the optical surface group to a side of the eyeball;
• at least one light-shielding portion in the light guide plate main body, wherein the at least one light-shielding portion is configured to shield a stray light component of the image light;
• and
• an incident lens joined to the light incident surface,
• the incident lens is configured to allow the image light to enter the light guide plate main body,
• the at least one light-shielding portion includes a light-shielding film, and
• the light-shielding film is in a first portion between the light incident surface and the incident lens;
• and
• an adhesive layer in a second portion between the light incident surface and the incident lens.
