Abstract
A camera container for military aircraft includes a removable outboard container, wherein the camera container is the casing of an adopted guided missile and has devices for detecting the guided missile by the aircraft, at least one autonomous camera system, casing elements of optically transparent material and also compensating masses and a pressure compensating valve.

A camera container for military aircraft having a removable outboard container, wherein
- the camera container is the casing of an adopted guided missile and comprises:
- electronics used to detect the camera container by the aircraft,
- at least one autonomous camera system,
- casing elements of optically transparent material,
- compensating masses for simulating the original mass and center of gravity of a guided missile;
- and
- a pressure compensating valve;
- wherein the camera container is inert;
- and
- wherein the at least one autonomous camera system is configured to continuously record the exit behavior of adjacent guided missiles or ballistic drop ammunition fired or dropped by the aircraft.
